WHAT I HAVE LEARNT IN MY 3 YEARS OF BLOGGING

Wednesday, 6 December 2017

Its hard to believe i have been blogging for 3 years now although sometimes i still feel very much like a newbie at it. I thought it might put together some tips i have picked up along the way and hope they are helpful to anyone even if you have been blogging for a while.

Blogging is not about the numbers

I have never focused on numbers as i only started my blog to share my opinion and passion for beauty products. I find you can get too caught up on how many people comment or read your blog and then it starts to become more like a job instead of a hobby i enjoy.

Natural Light is your Best friend

I always take my photos when there is natural light as i think it looks the best although sometimes i do have to sometimes have to brighten them in editing when if they are not as bright as i like. The best time is first thing in the morning during the summer and during the afternoon during the winter.

It doesn't matter what equipment you use

I use my samsung Galaxy S6 to take my blog photos and i think i get the best quality compared to my pentax dlsr i used to use. I still use a a free editing software to edit my photos called Photoscape and find it pretty easy to crop and brighten my photos.

Connect with other bloggers

I find being part of the blogging community is the best thing ever. Not only will you be part of a very supportive community you can also learn a lot from other bloggers.

What tips have you learnt from blogging?
