MY AUGUST SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR OILY SKIN

My skincare routine doesn't really change that much apart from a few products when the seasons change and now that we have entered august and the last time i updated my skincare routine was a year ago i thought it was about time i update you on what i am currently using on my skin.

Garnier skin active micellar water

I can be very lazy when it comes to removing my makeup at the end of the day and i find micellar waters are my go to option at removing everything but still making sure my skin is completely clean. I don't have a favorite Micellar water as i usually pick up what ever is on offer when i need to repurchase.

Simple Soothing Toner

I love simple skincare especially because my skin can be a little sensitive and react to some products sometimes. But i find that simple toner's are great at removing any makeup i may have missed but also for keeping my skin clear and are completely alcohol free.

No7 Protect & Intense Eye Cream

Since entering my thirties i have been on the search for an eye cream to slow down the aging process as much as possible and i find the No7 Eye cream does a good enough job. Of course it hasn't removed the fine lines i already have but i like to think it is doing something but if not it does a great job at making sure my under eye feels very hydrated.

L'Oreal Hydra Genius Serum

I have raved about this product in my July Favorites post and it has become a staple in my routine. It does a great job at keeping my skin hydrated and as it dries slightly tacky it would make a great primer for under your makeup.

Antipodes Joyus Protein-Rich Night Replenish Serum

As we enter the colder months my Antipodes night serum will become my skin's best friend but right now i use it on the odd night when my skin is feeling dry. As it is a protein rich night serum i am fine to use it by itself in the summer as it is formulated for more drier skin types. So if you have dry skin you will love this and a little goes a long way.

Balanceme Balancing Face Moisturiser

I am still using up my little sample of my new favorite face moisturiser that i got in my june Look Fantastic box. It is a hydrating yet lightweight moisturiser and although i am not 100% the scent of the product (its a very natural scent) i can overcome it because how it makes my skin feel and my makeup doesn't stick to any dry patches i may have.

  5. I'm going to have to check some of these products out once I run out of the ones I am currently using. I have combination skin. It tends to get oily on my forehead but dry around my nose.

  6. It's hard for me because sometimes my skin is super oily, but sometimes it's really dry! So I have to use a balance of different products with different outcomes. These are fab tips though and these products seem definitely worth checking out xx
