Can you believe its been a whole year since my very first blog post. The past year has really flown by and i am so thankful that i have kept at it and appreciative of anyone who has read any of my posts. In today's post i thought that since my very first post was a what's in my makeup bag that maybe you would like to see an updated version and to see if my tastes in makeup has changed.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette

Its only in the past year that i have started to own any urban decay palettes and i received the Gwen Stefani palette for my birthday back in march and i haven't really been able to stop using it since. I love that i can use it for a simple daytime look for work and then deepen if i wanted to for going out.

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer in NW25

This is my second tube of this Mac concealer after finding my other tube had really oxidized because i hadn't used it for so long (oops). It is a very high coverage conelar and i like to use it to cover any redness around my nose or to cover up any red angry spots that have decided to make an appearance.

Mac Lipstick In Cherish

I have quite an obsession with mac lipsticks, especially nude lipsticks. I didn't expect to love Mac's cherish as much as i do but as it is a soft peachy beige it actually compliments my skin tone quite well and doesn't make me look odd. I find myself wearing it most days, it is definitely my most worn mac lipstick for sure.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in

I am not that big on filling in my brows, its one step i don't always have time for and my hair tends to cover them anyway so its not something i find to be high on my list although i keep persisting with it and i do find i prefer pencils to be the way to go.

Nars Audacious Lipstick In Raquel

I was so glad i did my research before taking the plunge to purchase this Nars lipstick because there was no way i was spending £24 on a lipstick for it to sit on a drawer and not get used. I found that Raquel is the one that would suit me best as it is a peachy beige and i don't mind that its quite full coverage (i'm getting bolder) and it compliments my skin tone really well.

Nyx Blush In Taupe

I like my contour to be very natural and for it not to look like i have a grey stripe across my face so i like that you can swirl your brush into the product and apply where you want and because it has the grey colour to it, it will flatter those with pale skin like me.

Max Factor Blush In Seductive Pink

I actually picked this blush up about 2 weeks ago on my way home from the dentist ( i was trying to cheer myself up after receiving 2 fillings). I dont mind that this blush is quite sheer as i prefer that but it does give you a beautiful healthy glow to your cheeks.

Keyvn Aucion Highlight in candlelight

words cannot describe how much i love this highlighter, whenever i wear it my skin looks so glowy and is not one bit glittery.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer In Fair

I used the light shade up until a few weeks ago and you could tell it was too dark for me, so i opted for fair instead  although i had to do a fair bit of hunting to find that shade. I like to use a tiny bit under my eyes just to brighten but i have to be careful with how much i use as it settles into my fine lines even if i set it with powder.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I've heard mixed reviews about this mascara but i wanted to try it out for myself and let me tell you it is amazing, I love that my lashes stay curled all day, it doesn't flake when applied to my bottom lashes and it is a tiny bit too clumpy for my liking but i don't really mind that too much.

Lancome Juicy shaker In Freedom Of Peach

I never thought i would love a lip oil as much as this one. I like to keep the juicy shaker in my makeup bag for those days where my lips are too dry for lipstick but i still want a hint of colour too and they smell amazing.

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation

At the moment most of my foundations are either too light or not sitting well on my skin and my trusty smashbox is the only one that is working for me right now. It's has great coverage but still looks natural and doesn't sink into my pores.

Urban Decay Primer Potion

I have used up several sample of this primer and loved them so i took the plunge and bought the full size. I like that it does have some coverage but not too full coverage and thick that it would crease.
