MY CURRENT GO TO BASE FOR OILY / ACNE SKIN

It can be a bit of a pain to get my base right as i need something that can contol my oil, cover the redness in my skin, not emphasize my enlarged pores and dont still to any dry patches too. So, i am asking a lot from my base products.

Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer

This is my favorite pore filling primer and my foundation sits so well on top of it as well as helping foundation stick to my nose. I find my skin doesn't get too oily as it would if i wasn't wearing a primer.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Concelar

I only recently picked this up and i love it already. It is light enough to provide enough coverage and doesn't settle into my fine lines..as long as i don't go overboard with the product.

Smashbox 15 hour Wear Hydrating Foundation

I cannot live without this foundation. It provides me with enough coverage to cover any imperfections and can be built up and not cake up. It will not cling to any dry areas nor sink into my pores.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder

This is such a great powder for oil control and setting your makeup. I use it mainly for setting my eye base and sometimes down my t-zone and chin to keep oil at bay and to give my skin a smooth finish too.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

I use this powder mainly for setting my under eye concealer, It has a weightless feel to it and although it has a shimmery appearance in the pot it doesn't translate onto the skin but is great product for brightening up generally.
