MAC EYESHADOW COLLECTION | FEBUARY 2016

I thought it was about time i took you on a tour of my MAC palette and show you shade by shade what is in my palette including swatches.

MAC EYESHADOW COLLECTION | FEBUARY 2016
(swatched from l-r) Quarry, Mystery, Omega, Satin Taupe, Patina, Wood Winked, Mulch, Sable, Fig.1, Smut.

Quarry | Described as a soft muted plum brown and i use this often as my transition colour

Mystery | Its described as a muted plum brown but i would say its just a rich brown and i use this mostly in the lash line to add definition

Omega | Is a very pale grey/taupe and a great crease shade, It would work well for your brows if your pale enough

Satin Taupe | My all time favorite outer crease shade and is such a beautiful taupe/purple shade

Patina | Is one i don't use enough of as its quite golden and would only use it for under my lower lashes

Wood Winked | Another golden shade but warmer than Patina and almost copper like and is a favorite for the outer crease

Mulch | Is a true copper and although its not a favorite as its too red for my skin tone i will find a way to get use out of it

Fig.1 | I bought to add a pop of colour to my eyeshadow but is more pink/purple than it looked on the website so sits in my palette unloved

Smut |  Is a almost black with red shimmer through it which doesn't really show on the skin and would be great used in liner or pushed into the lash line

MAC EYESHADOW COLLECTION | FEBUARY 2016
(swatched from l-r) Kid, Folie, Charcoal brown, Nylon, Naked lunch, Jest, Shroom, Charcoal Brown

Kid | Is my favorite for the crease as its such a beautiful warm peachy brown although i think MAC might have discontinued it.

Folie | Is a beautiful red/brown and it does not get used as much at the moment as i have no room in my palette

Nylon | Is a very pale gold and i normally use this all over the lid just for a wash of something when i have those i cant be bothered days.

Naked Lunch | I love this soft pink shade for all over the lid, I sometimes wear it on its own and i love i can wear it with any crease shade.

Jest | Is more of a peachy shade than naked lunch and slightly darker, Its a great colour to wear all over the lid

Shroom | This soft beige shade my favorite for highlighting my brow bone of my inner corner of my eye

Charcoal Brown | For whatever reason i own 2 of the same shade and its a shade i get a lot of use out of by using it in my crease, my brows and lining my eyes

  4. You've got some beautiful shades in this palette, did you make this yourself? I keep meaning to do it but never have all the spare cash! Fig.1 is beaaautiful and I wouldn't usually gravitate towards that sort of colour, it's so pigmented. I'm feeling more impatient to make one now x
