It has been quite a while since i last posted an empties post. I feel like its been quite hard to finish up products since i did my last post as i have been trying out a lot of new products and forgetting about the products i should really be finishing up first.

I finally got through my stash of Simple Micellar Water and has always been my favorite go to brand for sensitive skin and very effective at removing my makeup. I'm still on the fence about Liz Earle Cleanse and polish of course it dissolved my makeup well and did not sting my eyes but i did not find it polished my skin as much as i would have liked when i used the Muslim cloth that came with it.

I really, really love Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask. I have found nothing as effective for calming down any breakouts i get and generally leaving my skin feel smooth and clean. I find that what ever primer i use i need to set it really well or my eyeshadow will crease throughout the day and Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow base was no exception although it does not have any coverage to cover up discolored eye lids.

I am finally had a clear out of my foundations and after a year of sitting in my drawer i decided that Smashbox Studio Skin has to go as i am sure it will be off by now after being not used for so long but for whatever reason i cant bring myself to repurchase it. I do not understand what has happened to my favorite foundation, When i apply Makeup Forever Hd Foundation to my skin it shows up every little texture issue i have on my skin. I have tried cleaning my beauty blender and moisturizing my skin really well but to avail it will no longer work for me.

I find that using Johnsons Baby shampoo along side olive oil to be very effective at taking all the makeup off my makeup brushes/sponges and is really cheap too. I love the scents of the Beautiology Shower Creams. Although i don't find them particularly moisturizing to the skin i use them instead of bath cream sometimes to use them up.

I dread to think how long i have had Wella Proffesionals Hair Mask. I use hair masques instead of normal conditioner as i find them to be more nourishing for my thick hair. Wella proffessionals hair mask was nice but not particularly great at taming frizz which i am prone to.

What have you finished this month?

  1. I love the NARS eyeshadow base, it works so well for me!

    xo, Liz

    1. It works for me too but doesn't help with discoloration x
