I love the satisfaction of using something up, its the best time to know if you loved the product or not. I am normally quite bad at not finishing something but doing these kinds of posts for you lovely people really encourages me to use stuff up so i can review it for you..

Body Care

Body Care Empties

Nivea Firming Body Lotion - I really enjoyed Nivea's body lotion, i am currently working on the one for dry skin. This was a lovely lightweight cream. Did i see my skin being any firmer? i cant say i didn't use it regularly enough to tell you but i liked that it sunk into my skin quickly and the smell was just divine.

Dove Cream bath - I featured this product in my mini haul which you can find here. I am a big fan of dove especially their body washes and i had never tried their cream bath but i am wondering if i used too much in my bath as it felt really odd.

Skin Care

Skin Care Empties

Nivea Extra gentle makeup remover - I was so dissapointed i didnt like this makeup remover. I found i had to really tug at my eyes to get any product to come off (something you shouldn't do) and it stung my eyes too so i had to stop using it.

Micheal Todd Charcoal Scrub - I found this product lurking at the bottom of my stored away beauty products and since i have not had any Micheal Todd skin care in my house for 2 years i think it would be best to throw it out.

Garnier Micellar water - I find that the micellar waters are not that great at removing my eye makeup or i am just too impatient to sit there with cotton pads over my eyes (most likely the latter) But i found it a great way of removing my makeup if i am feeling lazy.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads - I ended up not finishing these. I thought they were quite abrasive for me and as for the brightening effect it supposedly has i saw no difference.

Origins Make a difference Plus - I am so sad i finished this moisturiser, the gel consistency meant it sunk into my skin fast and my skin felt so hydrated and plump and did not break me out once. I love origins products but they are so expensive and i have found a cheaper alternative since.

Hair Care

Hair Care Empties

Aussie Take The Heat - I bought this when i was on my quest to find a heat protectant that would tame my frizz when it gets humid and although it had a nice smell i thought it didnt make my hair any sleeker or any less frizzy

Loreal Elnett Heat Protectant - This was a very nice spray, if i used too much i find my hair gets a tiny bit sticky but still unfortunately did nothing for frizzy hair.

Macadamia Healing oil spray - I Thought getting a healing oil for my hair would be a great idea as my hair is colour treated and has some damage to it. I HATED this product, It was so strongly perfumed and after using it for several months saw no difference in my hair.

Pantene Pro-v Power Shots - Another lost product, i have no idea if pantene still makes these (i have looked and i don't think so) I found them to still be effective on my hair, a nice shot of deep treatment left my hair feeling soft but as for less breakage i would have to use them more regularly to notice a difference.

What Products have you used up this month?

  1. I use the Garnier Micellar water as well, definitely not great at removing eye makeup, but it gets everything else off pretty well!

    1. I know! i have had to purchase a separate eye makeup remover.. Thanks for commenting :)

  2. I also use the micellar water, I also use it as a lazy option! I have tried the shampoo from the take the heat line of aussie and I really enjoyed it, maybe it might work better for you?

  3. I use the micellar water by Garnier and I really like it as it removes all my eye makeup ! x
